Equipment: A battle saddle and ammo. Basically, he has two large battle rifles attached to his sides.
Looks: Legacy is burnt orange with muddy spots on him. His hooves are also brown. His mane and tail are both short an reddish. His eyes are teal.
Personality: Legacy is a lone pony. He has never worked with anyone else in his life, except when he was too young to fend for himself. He is very stubborn and seems rather unfriendly. He can be selfish, but doesn't want others to die because of him. He is intelligent in the way the land works and about guns.
History: Legacy's parents were both Dashites. That is, they abandoned the pegasi above the clouds to live on the ground. His parents were killed when he was young, and he stayed in New Appaloosa for a while. However, since they trade with slavers, he high-tailed it out of there and has been on his own since.

 
Name: Zella
Age: 16
Gender: Mare
Role: Maintenance pony for stable 54 (between Whitetail Wood and Everfree Forest).
Skills: Anything technical or mechanical- machines, computers, robots, etc.
Equipment: Utility barding and neckband, pipbuck on right foreleg, various tools
Looks: Zella is a cerulean mare. Her speckled flank, muzzle and hooves are all a light blue, and she has dark freckles behind her eye. Her eyes are purple. Her mane and tail, both of which are rather fluffy, are pink and purple swirled together. She has brown utility barding with many pockets on it. She also has a simple black band around her neck that indicates her as a maintenance pony.
Personality: Zella is a quieter, softer mare. She tends to do her work without complaint and follows orders timidly. Her mother was captain of the stable police force, and was always rather harsh on her. Thus, Zella has self-esteem issues. She is extremely intelligent, however, and was at the top of her class.
History: Zella was born in a stable to the head of the security force, Marble. Her stable didn't have mate pairs. The women that wanted a foal would simply gain permission and select a willing male partner. Thus, she had no idea who her father was. She went through the routine of stable life, just as everyone else did, but she learned the truth. Being a maintenance pony, and top of her class, Zella got to go to the bowels of the stable. There, she was sent to work on one of the most delicate machines- the reprocessor. Basically, she discovered that waste, old food, and anyone that died were recycled into food. At the moment, she still lives in the stable, but her curiosity about the wasteland is starting to grow...

Name: Wolf paw
Age: 17
Gender: Mare
Role: Survivor
Skills: Stealth and agility, like the wolf as her cutimeark is a wolf pawprint
Equipment: A saddlebag with various knives
Looks: Wolf is a lean earth mare, slightly underweight but still fast and strong. Her coat is a light grey, with a lighter patch down her neck, with a slash across her right shoulder. Her mane is grey, darker than her body, and cut short for practicality, her tail the same. Her eyes are bright blue and her cutiemark is that of a wolf's pawprint.
Personality: Wolf is a mare who prefers to be alone, for her being alone is safer than risking being betrayed and stabbed in the back. She constantly travels, never staying in one place more than two days, and is always alert and on the look out for danger. She is wary of other ponies, with good reason, and always trusts her instincts that have helped her many times. She isn't technology smart, she sticks with knives instead of advanced weapons, but she is good at surviving.

Haha ok! This may be rather long since it's an intro post...


Morning in Stable 54 today was the same as every other. Zella rolled out of bed and put on her utility barding before slinging her saddlebags over her back. They were filled with her tools and would help her do her jobs. Breakfast would always come after her first job. Today, that happened to be a few broken light fixtures near the door. No one ever lingered in that area because it was the only point that gave access to the outside world. Everyone feared it. Zella thought they were being silly, but there was a scary feeling when standing there all alone.

She shook off the feeling and trotted towards the door, stopping at the terminal nearby. She had to temporarily shut off the power near the door so she wouldn't get electrocuted while working. She quickly logged in and shut off the power, but something else happened instead.

The door opened.

Zella stumbled back as she heard a low rumbling sound and felt a shudder under her feet. She dove behind a table and stayed until the noise stopped. She stood and looked around. Her eyes instantly stared at the door, or where it used to be. Everyone had always been told that only darkness was beyond, and they were right. A dark, dank hallway lay before her, and she cautiously trotted forward to peer in. A cold breeze blew through, sending a shiver up her spine.

Though she was always a more timid mare, her curiosity got the better of her and she trotted from her stable.
