The Cat and The Dog.

Valic got comfortable on the other and nuzzled the other's neck lightly, giving a gentle nibble while he moved to push him down fully. "Just a little..." He muttered, sniffing the other - hooked on his scent. Not that heat scent, his natural scent.

Joshua lashed his tail side to side. Whenever Valic breathed on him it tickled. "And here I am, forced to suffer as a bottom…"

Valic rolled his eyes a little at that comment, "Ah yes, whatever." He muttered out against the pale neck, gently nibbling.

Joshua gazed at Valic for a few seconds, sighing softly. "So..."

Valic glanced up at the other before stopping and just resting his head on the other's shoulder, "Dumb kitty."

Joshua flicked his ears, shifting to be more comfortable. "More like dumb dog. You can't help but love the kitty, it's in your dumb nature~"

Valic nipped a cat ear a little too roughly, "Oh hush up cat, dogs like me eat cats like you for breakfast."

"And cats like me claw your whiskers off if you're not polite." Joshua growled and flipped over, trying to attack his face.

Valic grabbed the cat's wrists and held them down, he was serious for a moment and looked the other over, leaning down - as if to give a kiss. But he ended up biting the other's cheek lightly, Joshua didn't like him like that, he liked that Neku cat more than him, it would be stupid to pull a move like that. Besides... Who liked a mutt like him?

Joshua growled lowly, flattening his soft white ears. He was unaware of the move the other was about to pull.
He mewed softly, suddenly acting innocent as he tried to wiggle free.

Valic licked the cat's cheek gently, there was a little red mark where his teeth had been, but that was it. No scars would be left, just a faint sore spot. Valic moved on top of Joshua and nuzzled his neck softly with a low growl, letting his hands go to toy with his tail.

Joshua kept his hands limp on the floor as he was loved on. Really he was curious as to why the dog found him so attractive…he didn't have his scent right now.

Valic moved the licks down to his neck, gently nibbling while he placed his arms around the Neko, lifting him up to sit on his lap, gently nibbling the other's collar bone, giving off a low and deep possessive growl.

Johua ran his cheek against Valic's forehead, leaving his cat scent on Valic. His tail lashed side to side and he flattened his ears. "Rude."

"How?" Valic growled lowly against the other's skin, sliding his hands under the other's shirt and resting them on the other's hips while he leaned back against the bed's side while gripping the cat gently, wriggling his hands around to touch the very base of his fluffy white tail.

Joshua's tail rapidly lashed side to side as it was touched. "You're just so mean and bad, I don't know if I can trust you." He growled.

Valic looked up at the other and his hands flinched a little, slowly pulling them away - having taken the words seriously. "Oh..." He mumbled out softly and glanced to the side awkwardly, placing his hands in his pockets and leaving the other on his lap so he could crawl off when he wanted.

Joshua frowned as his words were taken to heart and leaned up--not to escape. He tilted Valic's head towards him and gazed for a few seconds, unsure if he wanted to kiss him and make the commitment.

Valic leaned up the last inch and a half and lightly pecked Joshua on the lips, though he pulled away and glanced to the side - his stomach growling a little.

Joshua scooted back a little as he was actually kissed and shifted to a full cat, deciding to not acknowledge it until Valic did. He began to eat one of Valic's dog kibbles.

Valic saw the other just walk away and his heart dropped, his stomach felt terrible and he dropped his head, ears falling as well. He shifted to a dog and walked to the bathroom and jumped in the tub to hide there by himself, no longer hungry either.

Johua wasn't aware of the damage he caused the dog and licked his lips, making a sick face. "Your food tastes nasty." He said, trotting to his litterbox to do his business.

Valic was alone in the dark bathroom that had the door barely open, he rested his head in his paws and looked at the wall with a small glower on his fluffy face, he felt sick. He felt mislead, he felt unwanted, he felt... He ran out of words.

Joshua flattened his ears as his taunt remained answerless. He opened the door a little more with his paws and poked his head in. "Stop being so emo."

Valic held back a growl and just stayed quite in the bathtub, moving a little bit to face the corner of it, giving off a heavy sigh through his nose, he still felt terrible and wanted to be alone so he could just toss away all those emotions and leave the cat alone as if he were another one of Jane's plants... Just alive.

Joshua flattened his ears as he was just ignored and turned around, going to the back door. He viciously pawed at the lock with a claw until it opened and stepped out, shutting it behind him. He stayed a cat and walked around in the backyard, tail low.

Valic listened to the other and gave a low growl to himself and burrowed up into himself, unaware that Jane was coming home early with a bunch of Kitty and Puppy treats. That being steak for Valic and sushi for Joshua.

Joshua jumped up on the fence, eyes shut. So the dog hated him now, that was peachy. After a few seconds of pondering Joshua jumped on the other side of the fence. He didn't want to make the dog more upset. He began to trot into the woods, one of his favorite places was a tree in there.

Valic didn't hate the cat, he was too attached to hate him. He just felt used up and unwanted now - he was a dog after all, he would always feel that way. He gave off a low yet loud whine and rolled in the tub for a few minutes.

Joshua raced to the tree and jumped up into it, climbing before Niles or anyone could catch him. He climbed up high to the point if he fell, there'd be a dead kitty on the ground. His tail flicked side to side, ears flat on his head.

Valic remained in the tub until he heard the door open, but didn't move - the soft howling of the tiny pup could be heard. He sighed to himself and listened as she set a bag down on the counter and set up a small pin for the puppy. Though she was doing more... She heard Joshua's heat pin being moved to the guest room, and same with his dog bed.

Joshua shivered as snow dropped on his fur. His whiskers were starting to freeze, and he licked at them to keep them warm. He lifted his head up and sniffed the air, scenting Niles' pack of wolves waiting in the distance.

Jane hummed and walked out side, "Joshua! I have a nice yummy treat for you!" She called out kindly, having grown a little closer to the fluffy cat by now. She walked over to the gate where she saw his small paw prints. "Oh..." She walked out of the back yard and followed the small prints to his big tree. "Come here kitty!"

Joshua gazed down at Jane and hopped from the dangerously thin branch to another. Like squirrels or something. He didn't want to go inside, to a house where the dog hated him (he thought) and he wasn't firmly close with Jane. He blended with the snow.

Jane leaned down and picked up the shivering kitten and scratched his belly, "I'll give you some yummy sushi."

Joshua flattened his ears, and gazed at the dark forest. He suddenly kicked off of Jane's stomach as he saw the wolf pack about to surround her. He scittered to a tree, a wolf's jaws snapping inches away from his tail. The pack ignored Jane now.

Jane jumped a bit and looked at a wolf - natural defense, even if she was part of the ASPCA - she grabbed mace and sprayed it in one of the wolf's eyes to scare it off. "Get back!" She shouted and tried to keep the cat safe.

Niles snarled as Jane sprayed his eye and jumped at her, sinking his teeth into her arm. He growled lowly, holding her against the snow with his large paws. His teeth were bared into a snarl, dripping with her blood. Joshua quickly raced away towards the house, screeching for Valic. He was too small to do anything.

Valic got out when he heard Jane screaming, but she was to deep in the woods to see, but he could hear the pained sounds of his owner and started to bark and howl loudly, jumping out of the back yard and starting towards the woods.

Joshua tried to run through the snow to keep up with Valic but he was too slow. He just jumped up high in a tree and spat at Niles, who saw Valic running up. He bared his teeth and growled lowly, then turned and ran--he never fought.

Valic chased after him, the fur on the back of his neck was on end as he chased the other, snapping at his tail and tackling him down, snapping at his throat - aiming to kill this wolf. They were still in clear sight of Joshua and Jane.

Niles snarled and flipped over, kicking Valic in the stomach to knock the breath out of him. He took the few precious seconds and ran deeper into the woods. Joshua flopped in the snow, trying to reach Jane. He tried to lick the blood wounds, to stop the bleeding.

"IF I SEE YOU AGAIN, I'LL MAKE SURE I KILL YOU. I'LL EAT EVERY LAST MORSEL OF YOUR FLESH YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" Valic practically roared at the other, watching him off before snapping at the other wolves, scaring them off before he stalked over to the other two, lying down by them as Jane started to wrap her wounds.

Joshua flattened his ears and jumped on the fence, he couldn't help Jane, in fact he was the one who had gotten her hurt this badly. If only he had gone inside and just said sorry and then Valic's master wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Valic nudged her up to her feet and walked to the front door with her, "I'll be fine boy, stop being such a girl!" Jane teased lightly, "it's just a bite, I know how to fix it." She hummed and moved inside with the dog, opening the door for Joshua and letting him inside. "Come on now, treats for everyone!"

Joshua refused to budge, staying on the fence. He gazed out at the woods, well, he wasn't going there anymore. Everyone seemed to get hurt around him. The small cat lifted his head and sniffed the air, not hungry.

Jane frowned and walked out to the cat, prying him from the fence since she had the power to do so. "You'll get sick out here so come along now." She murmured, her wounded arm stopped bleeding after a little but it was overly tender.

Joshua gazed at the snow, just wanting to curl up in it and hide. He could do that pretty well, he just wanted to hide until winter passed and it was summer again. He wanted the warm weather, and the feeling of hope to return to him instead of this cold dead snow.

Jane shut the door and walked over to the guest room where she set him in his pin - which was now taller so Valic couldn't get in. They would have to stay there since the new pup was now living in the house. She pushed Valic in as well and brought in their treats, setting four squares of sushi on a dish and the steak - raw - on a dish before shutting the door.

Joshua gazed at the sushi and just turned his back, head lowered onto his paws. His tail curled tightly around his small body and he sighed, not bothering to groom the cold snow out of his long fur.
