The Cat and The Dog.

Joshua shut his eyes as the lovely smelling shampoo was lathered into his fur and ducked down, trying to avoid it. "No, I must smell manly!" He complained.

The vet continued to scrub the cat, cleaning his stomach and paws, a little of his face as well. "Now you sell all nice." He murmured as he cleaned the cat, clipping his nails and then rinsing him off with warm water then towel dried him, setting him on a spongey table to dry him.

Joshua shut his eyes as he was dried and yawned, stretching out. He meowed for Valic, his swollen stomach hanging down.

The man began to groom his fur, brushing it down and clipping the fur's ends so it would grow longer. He gave a soft hum while he did so before he set the small cat onto the ground, going to the door and opening it. Valic waiting on the other end with a high tail and Jane waiting as well - Val given a bath as well.

Joshua jumped over to Valic, sniffing him and pressing his nose to the other's. "You smell so...womanly." He giggled out softly, tail flicking side to side.

Valic nipped his tail while he stood by the other, nipping him again before pushing him, "Shut up, you smell like a chick also." He growled out before he snatched Joshua and started towards the door, wanting to go home again.

Joshua arched his back and went limp, he felt a lot more rested and refreshed. The small cat's back legs were limp but he was regaining some numb feeling.

Valic waited, Jane opened the door and paid the bill before she lead the two to the car with a small sigh. Valic jumped in and curled up with Joshua close, licking his stomach gently.

"You're ruining my clean fur." Joshua grubmbled out softly, pawing at Valic's nose as he sniffed his belly,

Valic ignored the other and continued to sniff and nudge his stomach before he nuzzled the furry cat at his side, licking his cheek before he looked out the window.

Joshua licked quietly at his belly. Hopefully Jane wasn't too freaked out about him pregnant with a dog's babies.

Valic felt the car come to a stop and sighed a little before they were pulled from the car and placed in the back yard to do whatever they needed.

Joshua seemed on his huard, walking silently in the frosty ground. He approached the dog house and pawed around inside.

Valic followed along and peeked in, it was safe... "Why are you so tensed up?" He questioned, seeing how he was so on edge.

"I don't want anyone hurting these babies." Joshua sat on his hind legs and pointed at his stomach. "That would be…"

Valic sat outside of the dog house with a soft sigh, looking at him before shifting human and looking to him, tail wiggling. "I'll keep you safe." He murmured to the other while he gazed around.

"You'll end up eating the babies." Joshua huffed, shifting to a Neko as well. Queenie was sitting on the fence post, puffing up her cheeks. She obviously had new gossip upon looking at them.

Valic shrugged and leaned over, biting his nose lightly. "Yes, I'll devour them and then I'll devour you." He growled out lowly, tail slowly wagging behind him before he looked to the other's massive bulging stomach.

Joshua hunched over his swelling belly. "Don't stare at the chub." He growled out lowly, ears going flat. He tilted his head up and looked at Valic.

Valic wasn't aware that Queenie was watching them, ignoring everything around before leaning over and kissing his stomach lightly, "I like it..." He murmured with a content look on his face.

"I don't like pudge. I'm working this off as soon as these turds come out of my butt." Joshua pawed Valic's face.

Valic looked up at him and gave a light chuckle, "No, no - keep it." He murmured down, gently touching the other's stomach again.

"Why? I hate it." Joshua growled bluntly, ears going flat as he poked the pudge. "That steak. It gave me all of this."

"I like it, just because a dog likes bones doesn't mean he doesn't like a little meat on them, y'know." He murmured, looking up at the other and sat up a bit to be more leveled with him. "That steak you forced me to cook?"

"Yeah, you cooked it wrong, I'm getting all kinds of pudge." Joshua huffed, looking up at Valic. It was obvious some of the babies would take more after dogs.

Valic rolled his eyes at this and leaned over, nipping his nose. "No I didn't, I made it perfect."

Joshua flattened his ears and swiped at Valic's face with his claws in. "Nope, it was probably all fat and no meat. Jerk!"

Valic leaned up and nuzzled his neck, "What, are you trying to impress someone behind my back by being skinny?" He questioned, he was teasing but he was also half serious too. Because of that other cat and all.

Joshua could tell he was treading on thin ice with this question. "Nope, only you. And judges don't like a chubby cat."

Valic nodded his head and nibbled the seam of his shirt before rubbing on him a little before he sat back again, "Who cares over the judges?" He questioned with a slight growl.

"I was just sayin'." Joshua huffed, grabbing his own tail and flicking the tip side to side. "It's in my nature to think competitively."

Valic rolled his eyes at this and placed his head on the other's lap, giving a sigh, "You don't need to though. Not anymore at least." He murmured to the other, glancing up at him.

"Why not?" Joshua asked, then remembered he'd probably never go into competition again. "These little turds better be worth it."

"Because, it sucks when you leave and then I'm home all alone... Sleeping." He muttered before nuzzling into the other's leg, giving a soft sigh.

Joshua wrapped his arms around Valic, lightly pecking his nose. "Well I probably won't, ever again."

Valic smiled and leaned up enough to kiss the other's nose gently while he nuzzled up to the other a little, "Good, I don't want you to." He murmured to the other since he honestly had anxiety issues. It was always a trouble for Jane to leave the house with him there.

Joshua lightly scratched Valic's ears, rubbing up his cheeks and mumbling little love words in no set pattern. "Dumb ppuy dog, Val is cute, dog…"

Valic wagged his tail and thumped his foot lightly while he leaned closer, enjoying all of the praise and attention form the other before he leaned up and pressed a small kiss to his lips. "Cute, cute kitty~"

"Such a handsome doggie my Val-Chan is, oh how cute, oh yes." Joshua knew Valic would get teased by the other animals in the neighborhood if they saw this lovey dovey attitude. "He'd never hurt me~"

Valic's tail wagged wildly while he leaned closer to the other, enjoying such sweet praise, his dog nature showing. He leaned up enough to lick the other's cheek, lapping his face lightly while he gently pushed the other back.

Joshua eased himself on to his back, letting Valic lick him and love on him. He placed his hands on Valic's back. "Oh my gosh, you're such a handsome dog, I cant even deal with you..."

Valic continued to lick at the other's face while his tail wagged viciously behind him, he gave a whine - like that of an excited dog when the owners are making the dog beg for a treat.

"You're so excited!" Joshua's voice rose to a higher pitch and he rubbed Valic's back viciously. "Calm down!" It was obvious this was a paradox tease.

The high pitched whine continued and the tail wagged viciously behind him, smacking everything around behind him. He licked the other's face more and more, seeming like a puppy given five million treats.

"Stop! Stop wagging that tail!" Joshua reached a hand over and tried to grab the thousand miles an hour tail. "Keep this up and you'll be able to power a city for a thousand years!"

Valic continued to howl and whine, the tail not slowing down at all, he gave a loud howl and nuzzled up against the other with content, getting up to sit higher so that he could keep rubbing the other.

Joshua's ears went back and he leaned over, gently biting his ear and then giving a little lick. "No! No tails wags, it's bad for the tail!"

Valic leaned his head back and shook his head when he was given a lick and rubbed his ear with a whine, he hated licks to the ear, the tail slowing to a gentle wag.

Joshua could tell the heat of the little cuddle session was over and hugged Valic close, resuming the gentle licks to the ear. "Good dog, what a handsome boy you are, Valic." He mumbled into his ear.

Valic whined and shook his head but the tail started to wag again towards the praise again and leaned over, nuzzling the other lightly before he licked at the other's nose gently.
