The Cat and The Dog.

Joshua shut his eyes as his nose was licked and licked his nose, yawning to reveal his adorable little teeth.

Valic saw the teeth and looked at them a moment before he touched one, "How cute..." He murmured, the fangs were small, surprisingly. But they were sharp and looked innocent to the touch.

Joshua shut his mouth on Valic's finger, drawing a tiny little bit of blood from the little teeth bite. "No touching with your dirty fingers. Who knows what you've been stepping on?"

Valic raised a brow and leaned up, licking the other's lip lightly before he pulled his hand away and started to rub his fingers. He sighed softly for a moment before he looked at the other, waiting for the other to do something.

Joshua calmly flicked his tail side to side. "Do you think the birth will be painful?" He asked, seeing as there were literal dogs the size of him growing in his belly.

Valic looked at the other and thought about it, "Jane might take you to the vet to have them." He murmured out while he looked at the massive stomach before him, they would be due in about two months. "Why, scared that there'll be a little pain?"

"Yeah." Joshua gave a faint nod, already his belly felt like it was going to explode because of how big the babies were. "Bleh, I feel like these little turds are gonna come out any day, not in two months."

Valic chuckled a little, "It's because you're so small and I have a big breed." He murmured before leaning over and nuzzling his stomach softly, rubbing it to soothe any pains.

Joshua huffed at the belly rubs and tried to push Valic off. "No no, bad dog. I can rub my own tummy." He struggled to stand past the weight of his body. "Uuuuggghh..."

Valic stood up as well before he grabbed Joshua and cradled him, hugging him close and leading the other inside the house from the dog house.

Joshua knew he probably wouldn't walk, at most he would have to waddle around the house like the chubby cat he was. "Meanie." He grumbled.

"Hey, I didn't want to but you coaxed me. No dog will refuse a treat." He teased with a smirk on his face as he walked in the house.

"Oh yeah, you totally didn't want to. That explains why you were whining for more and trying to hump my leg when I was nearly dead." Joshua growled, crossing his arms.

Valic smirked, "Hey, one treat's not enough, I'm a big dog you gotta remember." He teased the other and kissed his forehead before going to the couch, jumping on and lying down, curling around Joshua.

Joshua snuggled up beside Valic, lightly kissing his ear even when he knew the other hated it. "Well kitties happen to like kissing ears, so deal with it."

Valic cringed a little and rubbed his ear with a whine before he hid his face in the other's chest, lying at his side and under the other's arm like a child, though the difference - he was nibbling.

"Hey--you'll have to save these for the pups." Joshua pointed to his chest and snickered softly, licking Valic's ear again. "Mm, puppy doesn't like this, not one bit..."

"I'm not good at sharing..." Valic growled lowly and nuzzled closer before he tipped his head away in annoyance to the tickling ear, giving off another low whine and pawing at it.

"Then you're gonna have to learn how to deal when you can't have anything." Joshua purred at Valic's reaction and licked his forehead lightly.

Valic leaned up to the lick against his forehead and sighed with content, "But I don't want to..." He whined out once more with a soft murmur, nuzzling closer until his face was hidden in the other's neck.

"Share, puppy dog, share." Joshua rubbed his over swollen stomach and yawned, gazing at Valic with half lidded eyes. "Big dumb dog, that's what you are...hoarding me..."

Valic smirked and nuzzled his chest once more before he kissed the other's neck before he gave a content growl, "I hoard you all to myself, no one else can have or touch you. Not even the pups..."

"But...the pups and kits need to be fed, and they need love too." Joshua gave a faint smirk at Valic's possessiveness. "You can't just let them die."

"I know but I want you." He muttered and bit the other's neck a little before he moved on the other to be closer, giving off a low growl while he held onto the other, looking up at him.

"Hmm, well, let's think of ways to solve this problem." Joshua propped himself up on his elbows, resting on his belly. "Hm...how about...you stop being so mean..." He gazed back at Valic with that smirk.

Valic rolled his eyes and moved Joshua to lay on his side so he didn't hurt the babies. He pressed a kiss tot he other's neck before he moved around on the couch, "Shut up, I'm a mean dog and you gotta get used to it."

"You kidnapped me from across a fence. How am I supposed to act?" Joshua huffed, but winced as one of the bigger babies kicked at his stomach. "Ack, little brats…" He growled out lowly.

Valic smirked and reached a hand down, rubbing the other's stomach gently, "Oh shut up, brat." He muttered softly before he leaned over and nibbled his neck, "You'll be fine, it's called surprise adoption~"

"Surprise adoption my butt." Joshua huffed and crossed his arms. "Catnapping, is what it's called." His ear flicked and he rolled over with his big belly. "And then forcing me to carry your babies…"

"Hey now, I wanted to stop but your fluffy butt persuaded me." Valic huffed out as well, "It's your fault, not mine~" Jane looked over at the two on the other end of the couch with a raised brow, they were meowing and growling, low barks and little hisses on that side. "Um... Are you two hungry?"

Joshua looked up at Jane and bounced up, rubbing his butt on her shoulder, purring. "Yes! Yes, this dog starves me." He whimpered, plopping heavily to the side.

Jane chuckled and scratched his head before standing up, "Alright, I'll go and get you two something to eat." She hummed to the two before leaving and going to the kitchen to cook for the two odd pets.

Joshua hissed softly at Valic. "No. I get all his food because he's a dinglehopper and needs to feel my pain," The small cat rolled around on his overswollen belly, huffing.

Valic seized the other by his scruff and carrised him off the couch and towards the food bowl, rolling his eyes. "Whatever, Mr. Pregnant." He growled out, setting him down by the cat bowl.

Joshua plopped in front of the bowl but then waddled over to Valic's, nomming on a big kibble. "Mine." He growled lowly, his tail swishing side to side. He enjoyed the meaty taste of Valic's food more than his dry, tasteless food anyways.

Valic watched before he took a bite from what was in the bowl, giving a growl to the other since he was in the way. "Buttface." He growled at him before he took another bite from the bowl.

Joshua lightly swiped at Valic's nose with his sheathed paws. "Mine." He growled, standing in front of the food bowl with his tail swishing side to side. "You gotta fight me if you want this food."

Valic rolled his eyes and bit the other's ear gently before he nudged him to the side, taking a mouthful of food before letting Joshua have the last of the kibble in his bowl. Seeing as Jane was giving him scraps from the other night.

Joshua dove in and snapped up the food, swallowing the last kibble. He padded over to Jane and rubbed against her, purring. "Hey, don't give him those--give those to the starving kitty down here. I've got babies to feed." He plopped down on his side, unable to balance.

Jane looked at him and smiled, bending down and gently scratching the other's fluffy ears. She handed Valic a big bone with meat still all over it, she then handed Joshua a good amount of steak cuts.

Joshua instantly began to devour the food. Ever since the babies got bigger, so did his appetite. His tail lashed side to side, one eye on Valic, as he ate the food. Obviously not trusting the big dog, thinking that he was going to steal his steak bits. He finished quickly and sat up. "Jaaaaaane, it's Thanksgiving--are we getting leftovers?" Of course she only heard meowing.

Valic wouldn't mind the other eating, he was busy gnawing on the bone, giving a small sigh. Jane looked at him and reached down, lifting the massive fat cat up into her arms and rubbing his plump belly. "I have a special treat for you two tonight~" She chimed.

Joshua weighted quite a lot for a cat, at least 24 pounds. He huffed and snuggled up against Jane, tail flicking calmly side to side. "What? Is it turkey? I love turkey." He purred lowly, lightly licking her chin.

Jane laughed lightly and rubbed his chin before she looked at the other with a small smile on her face, "We'll have a good amount to eat, the three of us." Jane murmured, she spent the holidays alone, not really having family near her let alone, did she have anyone aside from Valic and now Joshua.

Joshua licked his lips and trembled in excitement, one food that he would binge eat would be turkey. He gazed at the fridge with his wide kitty eyes, tail flicking side to side. If you let him, he would eat a whole turkey and a half by himself.

Jane kissed his furry head before setting him down, "Now go lay down, you need to." She murmured, seeing as he was heavily pregnant and due in just months.

Joshua waddled over to the fridge and plopped down beside it, gazing at the door. It was obvious he wasn't moving from this spot until he got what he wanted--the turkey. In fact, he stood up and tried to open the door with his small paws.

Jane pushed his paws away, "Stop it, nosy - I gotta fix it first." She stated in a soft voice, nudging him away with her foot while she pulled the big bird out of the fridge to cook.

Joshua jumped up as high as he could, balancing on his hind paws--nearly impossible at this weight but he was doing it. "I want the turkey." He mewed out softly, ears going flat--heck, if Puss in Boots could do it, so could he. He made his eyes expand until there was almost no color at all, just the adorable look.

Jane felt her heart flutter and she made a sound that showed just how cute Joshua was, moving over and cupping his furry face in her hands, kissing his pink nose gently. "I'm sorry, baby - but I need to cook it first so the babies don't get sick and same with you." She murmured before she walked to the fridge, grabbing pre-cooked turkey slices and setting the deli slices on the counter for him.
