Valic gave a small smile, glad the other was laughing a bit more. For an odd reason, he felt pleased when he made another happy - must be one of those things you have when you get close to someone.

Valic looked around a moment, there wasn't much to do at a beach - was there? All he saw people doing was playing ball, walking, fishing, and swimming as well as tanning in the sun. "What do people do here?" He asked, seeing as he wanted excitement or something less...calm.

Valic nodded his head and placed an arm over the other's shoulder - pulling him under his arm. "Alright, well we have the picnic so let's go do that." He said in a calm voice - looking around before looking to the other.

Valic kept his hand with the other's as he looked around and went towards the shore, looking down and seeing something shinny. Kneeling down a bit and lifting it out - he dragged out a large pearl in hand.

Valic looked it over a moment - it was a black pearl, rather rare from what he's heard before. He smiled weakly before looking down at the other, "Strike of luck I guess?" He asked with a small laugh.

Valic placed it in his pocket - sealing it with a buckle and a zipper before he walked towards the banks and stood there, tail flicking off water as he scanned around a moment before seeing their things. "Alright - shall we?"

"Drinks and just a bunch of fruit - I didn't really know where anything was." Valic stated in a calm and slightly lower voice as he thought about it, berries and small melons as well as star fruits.

Valic nodded and kissed the other softly on the forehead before getting a few disgusted looks. He didn't care as long as he didn't see it, but he felt it. Either way, he sat down at their blanket and pulled the basket over.

Nodding his head, he placed his arm over Vector's shoulder and grabbed a knife and star fruit. Cutting it in half he placed it in cubes and set it on a small pan he brought as he held it in one hand and began to set flame under the small pan.

Valic made it shirt into a small cat that walked along the edge of the pan before he poured the contents onto a plate with a fork. "Sugar or no?" He asked, the flame cat sitting on the plate.

Valic said with a nod, mostly speaking to himself before looking down at Vector and giving a small smile to him - placing his head on the Angel's head. Val paused a moment and began to trace his memory for a sort of thought of when his birth was, it had been so long since it was last celebrated. "In July, on the third." He said in a simple manner, placing his head on Vector's shoulder by slumping down a bit. "And why are you so curious?" He asked in a mocking voice, giving a grin.
