High School Drama.

Valic nodded his head a little, "I'm sorry to hear about that.' He murmured to the other before stepping up in line to see the menu a little better, "What would you like on it? Because if you don't speak up now - it's whatever I normally get~"

"I don't care, I'll just pick off what I don't like." Joshua gave a small yawn, that was usually tomatoes and condiments, like mayo or ketchup or whatever else Valic desired. "So you can have it double~"

Valic nodded his head a little and leaned down, gently kissing the top of his head - they didn't show all that much PDA. Well, that was a lie - they were starting to show it more and more now. Valic wasn't scared of Neku's pitiful wrath, so it was fine by him. "Ah... Italian bread toasted, teriyaki chicken, lettuce, olives, pickles, salt and pepper, SOS, and....a large Dr. Pepper."

Joshua huffed slightly as Valic ordered a soda, he never drank that stuff. But he kept it to himself, he said he'd share and besides, the drink wasn't all that bad--he just didn't like the fuzzy feeling it left in his mouth. He kept silent and gazed around the Subway--some people were staring at the gay couple.

Valic stepped to the side and walked to a table while he waited for it to be made, there weren't many people there really - so he wasn't paying attention to anyone, just paying all the attention to Joshua like the male in the relationship was.

Joshua glanced away from one particular family stood up to leave, hiding behind Valic somewhat. "I don't like this...I really don't like this...can we just take it and go back to the school?" He didn't like being stared at, it made him feel awful, and he sighed softly. "I don't want to be here."

Valic looked down at Joshua when he spoke and looked towards the scowling parents before huffing softly, "Sure, we can head back and just eat there, no big deal..." It was still cold out, but it was alright, Christmas was soon so that was something to look forwards to.

Joshua walked towards the car, sighing softly. He hated stares, hated them so so much. The small teen sighed softly and waited for Valic to unlock the door, shivering slightly at the cold weather.

Valic grabbed their food and their drink and two straws, unlocking the car with his keys before walking over as well to get in the car with him, Sitting down and giving a content sigh. He looked to Joshua with a worried look, he didn't seem all that happy. "What's wrong?"

Joshua climbed into the shotgun seat. "Nothing. I'm okay." He muttered out softly, gazing out the window. He seemed to have lost an interest in the food he had been so eager to eat a few minutes ago.

Valic frowned softly and gently rubbed his hand, "Cheer up a little bit, the day will get better." He murmured, pulling his hand away to start and pull the car from the parking lot to head back to the school to eat the lunch they bought.

Joshua stayed silent, Valic couldn't see it but Joshua had his wings spread out. There was a deeper sense than what was to be seen by the human eye in the car, Joshua seemed to be emitting an emotion that no human being had ever experienced before.

Valic sighed softly and drove down the intersection towards the school, it was a short drive but still. He parked where he was before and opened his side, grabbing the drink and the food before shutting the door and waiting for Joshua by the gym doors.

Joshua followed after Valic, staying silent. Neku was gazing at the two of them, but didn't say anything. Joshua didn't look up, gazing just ahead.

Valic opened the door for the other and walked in after him, unsure if the other wanted to be touched or not, so he kept his hands to himself as he walked with Joshua towards the lunch room. "Did you want to eat there or in the gym where it's just us?"

"I like the gym." Joshua muttered softly, just sitting on the floor. Neku half thought about walking over and gazed at Joshua. "Uh, hey…" He muttered softly but was ignored.

Valic nodded and walked back towards the bleachers, setting their things down before going over and picking Joshua up, setting him on the bleachers as well. "OKay, we'll stay in here and eat then." Neku was completely unheard and unseen.

Joshua gazed at the floor, refusing to face the problem at hand. He just yawned slightly. He had changed his number so Neku couldn't text him anymore or anything.

Valic pulled the sub from the bag and split it to the half it was supposed to be in, handing one six inch half to the other while he leaned back on the bleachers and ate his own half, giving a small sigh while looking the other over. He honestly wanted the other to talk to him about what was bothering him, but knew pressing it would have Joshua upset.

Joshua picked off all the things he didn't like and began to eat, but only finished about half of his piece before setting it down. Usually he ate a little more but today he didn't feel very good, not physically ill but mentally.

Valic finished off his half before looking to Joshua, cleaning whatever mess he made with the napkins. "Want to talk about it?" He asked softly, figuring it had to do with the whole Subway incident. He didn't want the other to be upset over that.

Joshua shook his head no. It bothered him that 'gay' was considered a bad thing. It honestly shouldn't have been that big of a deal but it was. The small teen sighed and gazed at the ceiling of the gym.

Valic frowned faintly before grabbing the trash, getting up and crossing the gym to throw it away, patting his hands before returning to Joshua's side, sitting by him and patting his head softly. "Alright...I'm still here if you want to though." He murmured, pulling the smaller male closer, being gentle.

Joshua let himself be held closer, gazing at Neku--who atill hadn't really moved, just was watching the two of them. He glanced up at the sound of the bell, one more class until the school day was over.

Valic sighed and stood up, grabbing his things before kissing Joshua's forehead softly, "I'll meet you by the car to take you to my place for a study date, m'kay?" He asked in a small whispering voice to keep a calm aura around the two, not wanting to disturb any peace.

Joshua nodded, tilting his head up slightly. "I don't want to go to class." He mumbled out softly, which meant he wa skipping--which was bad, since Neku seemed to be skipping as well.

Valic frowned a little, unsure if he needed to as well or not. "Well..I have weights again so why don't you just hang out in the weight room with me?" Valic had gotten most of his credits done in the beginning of the year, so he just took two weight classes and Spanish while he had a free period. Glancing over he noticed Neku and gave a frown, it was obvious it was no longer optional. It was either Joshua go and stay with him in the weight room or they leave all together.

Joshua gazed at Valic for a few seconds. "But then the teacher will catch me and force me to go." He mumbled out softly, gazing back at Neku--so he was the problem. "Can we just leave? There's no point in being here..."

(Ah nevermind on the webcam thing, my dad came home...c: )

Valic glared at Neku the entire time - if he had wolf ears and a tail, they would be low and flicking irritably. His arm laced around the other, pulling him closer by his waist and starting towards the door, when Joshua wasn't looking he mouthed to the orange haired male. 'He's mine.'
"My house, right?" He asked, gently guiding the other towards the door.

Joshua gazed at the door, but Neku saw the words. He scowled and held up a middle finger to flip him off--it was obvious he had a plan to get Joshua back. The small teen gazed at the sky once outside. "Sure."

Valic held Joshua close to his side before he got to the car, opening Joshua's side of the car for him, he was still making sure Neku stayed in the Gym room. Once Joshua was inside the car, Valic got in his side - he shivered softly and rubbed snow off his shoulders.

Joshua buckled up and shut his door, gazing at Valic. "What are we going to do? I don't wanna study." He lowered his gaze and sighed.

Valic looked over at Joshua and shrugged softly, starting the car up and buckling himself up as well. "Anything you want I guess, but we do need to handle some of your homework. Just a little bit of it." Valic backed out and started out of the school grounds to head to his house.

Joshua gazed at the roof of the car--he looked up a lot. "I don't want to." He muttered back softly, he didn't stop resisting work when they got together. If anything, he got even more resistant.

"Sorry, but you have to." He murmured over to the blonde, taking the short way home, though it was still a while until they got back to his house. Lips pursed a little while he drove forwards, he was still wondering about earlier, what had him so upset.

"I'm not going to." Joshua shook his head no, still refusing what Valic said. "I don't want to so I'm not going to, okay?"

Valic sighed and nodded his head, "Alright, fine..." He muttered with a small glower on his face while he drove in silence towards the house, he didn't want to mix up any bad tension between them. So he'd do what he'd have to and shut his trap, and leave it shut. The rest of the car ride was basically silent.

Joshua glanced out of the window, feeling bad now for have being sassy. He just didn't want to study…he didn't want to do anything. He just sighed and shut his eyes, wanting to sleep.

Valic didn't dare say a word as he parked the car, pulling out the keys and sitting there for a moment to check his texts from his mom, she wasn't coming home and he had to order take out. He sighed softly and put the phone in his pocket again before nudging Joshua to wake up, getting out of the car to hurry inside, but a gust of chilled snowy wind prevented it.

Joshua lifted his head slightly and shuddered, he was feelin pretty cold himself. He looked over at Valic for a few seconds, "Huh?"

Valic looked deathly pale by then, he couldn't handle the cold in general, but that gust of wind just did it for him. The older male paused and used the car's hood for support to steady himself before making his way to the garage. His pace was slow and hunched, shivering and covered in snow.

Joshua pulled open the car door and quickly dashed after Valic, quickly following him inside. He snatched a blanket off the couch and put it over Valic's shoulders.

Valic sneezed quietly into his sleeve, sitting on the ground and coiling up into himself by the empty fireplace, the house was already really warm but he was ill now. He didn't want to get Joshua sick and wanted to tell him that he should head home, but Joshua had no other way home but Val's car - really, he was just worried about Joshua's health and not getting him ill or making him upset.

Joshua gazed at Valic, concerned. "Want me to go?" He asked softly, helping the other move to the couch. "It's not a problem, I have to walk through this everyday."

"N-no... You'll get sick faster that way... Just sit away from me. I'll take you home as s-soon as the weather chills..." He frowned a bit and coughed, rubbing his face and setting his head on his arms, shivering softly.

"Yeah no…I'm the one who got you sick in the first place. So I'm going to warm you up." Joshua snuggled close to Valic, half wanting to get sick and miss school.

Valic sighed but nodded his head softly, "It wasn't your fault, I lingered too long." He mumbled, suppressing a cough and making his shoulders jump a little, clearing his throat for a moment. He rubbed his face and glanced down at the other as he cuddled up to his side.

Joshua refused to move from that spot, sighing softly and shutting his eyes. "Well too bad. I'm clinging and now you can't lose me."

Valic smiled weakly at the other and held in another cough, making his back and shoulders hunch a bit, looking down to cough - he wasn't contagious in any matter. But when you're sick - contagious or not - you always feel like you can get someone else sick. He sighed softly to himself, feeling woozy.

Joshua growled, he still had that faint hickey but it could be mistaken for a bruise. He tried to wiggle free from Valic, huffing slightly.
