High School Drama.

Valic raised a brow at the other's comment and pose and merely shook his head, flicking Joshua's forehead slightly. "So have I, deary." His smirk didn't fade - nearly grew a little more while he stood there before the smaller younger male.

"Mmhm, honey--I doubt that." Joshua pursed his lips and waggled his hand at the other. "Aw snap, gurl, don't you even start with our gay-dars."

(Pfffft~)

Valic slapped a hand on the other's lips with a small laugh, "Hush now deary, you're acting as if you're something your not." He laughed weakly and pulled his hand away after tapping his shoulder.

Joshua rolled his eyes, dropping the pose. "Yeah, I'm not THAT gay…on the outside." He had faked a lispe which also added to the humor. "Now what?"

Valic chuckled a bit, shaking his head and looking to the side for a moment or two before looking back down at Joshua for a moment, "Hmm... I don't know. What is it you want to do?" He asked, poking the other's flat stomach, "Want to watch a movie, make pancakes, etc.?"

Joshua jumped at the poke to the stomach. "Cupcakes. I want to make cupcakes! With rainbow sprinkles!" The teen raced away from Valic, practically falling down the stairs as he ran.

Valic followed along after the other with a soft sigh, pushing back his black bangs before he made it to the kitchen and gathered up the objects needed to make the cupcakes, "What kind of batter? Icing?"

"I like vanilla, and I want white frosting." Joshua was actually a little thief--he stole batter from the bowl whenever the cook glanced away, as well as the icing. Right now he was gazing at the empty bowl, thinking about the soon batter.

Valic nodded and began to gather up the ingredients before he grabbed the recipes as well. "Alright, well - make the icing and I'll make the batter." He murmured handing him a slip of paper that had neat writing on it, it was a family recipe.

Joshua grinned, gazing down at the paper, then frowned slightly. He still had trouble reading English, even if it was in a nice handwriting like this one.

Valic looked over to the other and figured he'd have to help out a little bit, "Here..." He began to put small drawings by each item to help him out as to what he'd need. Valic glanced at what he drew and gave a small nod, looked good enough.

{2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla }

"Ah…thank you." Joshua mumbled, gazing at the drawings for a few moments then walking towards the fridge to get the butter, and milk. He poked through cabinets to find vanilla and powdered sugar, as well as measuring cups.

Valic began to make up the batter with vegetable oil, water, eggs, and the powder being given. He also added in vanilla pudding powder to make it more creamy and tasteful - his mom loved doing that, it kept it fluffy too.
Val left the whipped up bowl to grab a cup cake pan and cup cake papers to pour the batter in.

Joshua began to measure out ingredients, humming softly while doing so. He got the stuff to exactly the line, so it would be evenly distributed. "Is this good?"

Valic looked over and nodded his head before grabbing a hand mixer that only had one balloon whisk attached to it, but it would still do all the work. "Yea, once you finish, beat it on low until it peaks."

Joshua gave a small shrug and took the mixer, setting it on the counter. He sighed gently and put all the ingredients in. He began to lightly mix them together so they wouldn't go flying out of the bowl.

Valic looked over his shoulder to the other as he grabbed a big spoon and covered the tins in wrappers, pouring in the batter to fill half the tin before pouring the last in another cup cake pan, both were set into the oven for twenty five minutes.

Joshua finished off on the icing and stole a quick taste when Valic wasn't looking. He gazed at the bowl that had once contained batter and ran his finger along the side, getting some leftover batter and eating it.

Valic took the icing bowl and set it in the fridge to chill a little before raising a brow to a clear stroke through the bowl, obviously someone stole a taste. "Don't eat raw batter, you'll get sick." Valic warned in a rather...flat voice, as if he knew hos words had no effect.

"Sick schmick, I only got so long to live." Joshua muttered, licking a bit more batter. He never told anyone but he had bad thoughts…suicidal ones.

Valic rolled his eyes before ruffling the wavy blonde locks of hair, taking the bowls and other dirty items and setting them in the sink, "In those years it sucks to get sick and miss out on things." He hummed over, looking to the timer - they still had a good time to wait.

Joshua gazed at Valic. "I don't do much anyways, I just want to enjoy my cupcake batter." He gave a small yawn and watched the timer slowly tick down.

Valic looked down at Joshua and pursed his lips a moment - he knew most guardians didn't let anyone younger than a junior date a senior and yet Mr. H seemed pretty okay with it whenever Valic stopped by to drop off or pick up Joshua. "How does your guardian feel about you being with me?" After all, the age difference was something to worry over.

"Mr. H? Oh, he doesn't know." Joshua gave a slight yawn. "He just thinks that you're my good friend." He stretched out and looked at the timer slowly ticking.

Valic gave a nod - that was a slight relief, though his own mother was getting suspicious of them. That's why she did the entire house check before leaving again, she'd already told him there was to be no 'Romeo & Juliet Romances going on.' "Hey, stop staring at the timer. It won't make it go faster, and it's rude to pay attention to that when I'm right here."

Joshua glanced back at Valic. "I'm sorry." He mumbled softly, glancing away for a few seconds before looking back up. "What do you want?"

Valic rolled his eyes a bit, "I was kidding." He murmured in a reassuring way, whenever he did joke he tended to have a serious look but often cracked a weak smile soon after. Val leaned down and pressed a little peck on the other's lips, "But I wouldn't mind having some attention."

Joshua blinked and blushed faintly at the small little peck. "Ah, well…okay…" He was a little on the short side, and had to stand on his toes to return the small little peck.

Valic chuckled at the fact the other was struggling to get at a semi-equal height, to keep the shorter male from straining, Val leaned down more to give him another kiss. The demand for affection wasn't all that strong - yet at least - it was settle and just a little wanting.

Joshua wasn't sure what Valic wanted from him. The small teen continued to try and satisfy him, though. He stood up a little taller, to be taller than the other for just a few seconds.

Valic noticed what the other was doing and raised a brow but shrugged it off and pressed the kiss just a teeny bit more, not much pressure was added to make it deeper though.

Joshua put his arms around Val's neck, lowering himself a bit to be a little bit shorter. He allowed the kiss to be pressed the slightest bit deeper, he had stated his limits and he was still fine.

Valic allowed himself to be tugged down to a desired height, he placed a hand on the counter so his back wouldn't get sore from the leaning, he had a nasty bruise from getting checked in a game a few days back.

Joshua opened one eye slightly to gaze at the content look on Valic's face. He leaned closer, pressing their embrace a little deeper. He had never been the one in charge, it was new.

Valic didn't refuse any offer, he would only go as far as the other planned to. If he wanted a deeper kiss and embrace then so be it, but other wise - he wouldn't do anything else.

Joshua didn't like the feeling of dictating this. "You can do something too." He mumbled out softly then resumed the little kiss.

Valic took in the other's words after the kiss broke for that short of a murmur, he lifted Joshua up and walked to the living room, setting him down and taking a seat by him - never parting their little kisses.

Joshua kind of knew what was coming--he had seen it in movies a few times. The smaller teen leaned backwards on the sofa, obviously assuming the female role--this time around. He blushed faintly, continuing the kisses.

Valic raised a brow but brushed it off and followed the other lower on the couch, pressing the kiss just as gently as he had before, not wanting to disturb the gentle peace.

Joshua pressed the kiss a little bit deeper, hands wrapping around the other's neck and pulling him closer. He went fully on his back.

Valic supported himself - not wanting to collapse on the other and harm the tiny little frame below him. Once the kiss was pressed deeper, he tried to see how far he could go and parted his lips a bit to lick Joshua's lower lip faintly.

Joshua shut his eyes and blushed faintly, he didn't know what this gesture meant but shuddered lightly, his blush growing a dark scarlet.

The request wasn't known so Valic backed off from that and just continued the gentle makeout session - but sadly they were cut short from the beeping on the oven.

Joshua blinked at the sound of the beeping and sat up slightly. "I guess they're done--that is one way to spend 20 minutes."

Valic noticed the pink on Joshua's cheeks and gave off an inner grin, rubbing the blushing area before getting up and going to the kitchen to gather up the items in the oven.

Joshua stood up, and walked into the kitcheb with Valic. "Can I help ice them?" He asked, bouncing up like a kitten. The blush was still there.

"We have to let it cool first, and that'll take a few minutes but sure - you can help, get the icing and a big bag out with scissors." Valic pulled the batch out and set them on cooling racks before placing them in the fridge to cool faster.

Joshua did as he was told, humming softly.

Valic helped pour the contents into the bag, squeeze it down and tie off the end - waiting a few minutes before he pulled out the cup cakes for Joshua to frost - cutting the tip.

Joshua frowned slighty in concentration and began to make pretty little traditional swirls on each one. He lightly bit his lip, still faintly tasting Valic--he was sweet but salty at the same time.
